Green Bay Packers fan Tom Grossi has been all over America and the internet over the past year, truly taking the NFL by storm.
After years of being a hit YouTube sensation, Grossi finally broke out into a much bigger audience base when he achieved his goal of visiting 30 stadiums in 30 days. While other fans have done similar things like that, what made this journey special was that Grossi was already a popular internet celebrity, but more importantly, he was doing all of this in the name of charity.
The 30-day event raised $500K for St. Jude and became so popular that NFL teams gave him private tours starting with M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.
Since then his stock has only risen. Interestingly enough, he was the sole representation of the Packers on NFL Honors night, as the only “member” of the organization. With increased fame and a much bigger subscriber count, many fans are curious about him and what he does. Here are the essentials.
Tom Grossi Used To Be A Teacher
Before becoming a full-time YouTuber devoted to Packers and NFL content, Grossi taught at multiple schools as a K-12 teacher. Once the YouTube money consistently came rolling in, he decided to call it quits and work full-time on the Internet. That explains why he’s able to record so much content.
Tom Grossi Went Viral For This Iconic Packers Moment
Grossi has gone viral on many occasions, most of them dealing with the Packers. More often than not, it’s the brutal playoff chokes over the past few years that have gotten him the most clicks.
His biggest moment was from the 2020 draft. Unlike a lot of his other funniest moments, this wasn’t scripted at all. His reaction to Love being picked was identical to many other Packers fans that night.
Tom Grossi Has Interviewed Mark Murphy Multiple Times
Arguably the most important Packer, Packers President Mark Murphy is responsible for the rosters you know and love.
Grossi has interviewed him on many occasions and is likely going to do so again this off-season.
Tom Grossi Is A Member Of The NFL YouTube Avengers
Grossi has joined a group of some of the other big-name NFL YouTubers to join a super-team, Avengers squad, etc. Called Clickbait Sports, the group of 5 (including Grossi’s close friend Brandon Perna) has a weekly podcast that deals with the NFL at large, but also each member’s team.
Tom Grossi Is Undoubtedly A Green Bay Packers Super Fan
Grossi might live in New Jersey, but his heart lies in Wisconsin. Look at the merch stacked up on his desk. He’s done interviews with Ryan Grant, Kurt Benkert, and plenty of other former Packers.
He chose the Packers as his first destination for his stadium tour. He’s gone viral due to this team on many occasions. He might make general NFL content, but he wouldn’t care about football at all if his heart wasn’t set on the Packers – the case for many in one of the most passionate fanbases in all of pro sports.
