The Green Bay Packers are set to play their first-ever game in London on Sunday, October 9th. Their opponent, the New York Giants, share the same record at 3-1.

International games tend to pose some challenges for fans, though. For instance, the time zone difference requires the game to begin at 8:30 a.m. CST (9:30 a.m. EST).

But the early morning game-time isn’t nearly as challenging as finding out exactly how to watch the packer game.

If you’re hoping to watch the game using your normal cable package, you will be out of luck. These London games are not broadcast as they are on CBS, Fox, and ABC.

How To Watch the Packer vs. Giants

    • NFL Network subscribers can watch it as they normally can.
    • NFL+ subscribers can stream games on their phone or tablet only.
    • NFL Network can stream on Hulu+Live TV, YouTube TV, Sling, and Fubo TV.

Okay, what if you don’t have access to these broadcast services?

Well…how about using packerseverywhere.com to find the nearest Packer bar?

Your local pub will undoubtedly have the early morning packer game. The question is whether they’ll be open early enough!

Or, if your love the energy of Wayne Larrivee and Larry McCarren, listen to their play-by-play on Packers Radio Network or Sirius XM Channels 228.

    Game Details

    • Announcers: Kevin Kugler, Mark Sanchez, Laura Okmin, and Stacey Dales
    • Time & date: 8:30 a.m. CST – Sunday, October 9th – 2:30 p.m. in London
    • Location: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London
    • Team Records: Packers, 3-1; Giants 3-1
    • Betting: Packers are 9.5-point favorites at SI Sportsbook – Packers are 7.5-point favorites at FanDuel Sportsbook

    Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

The Week 5 matchup is the second of three London NFL games and the last to be played at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The third and final NFL game in London will take place at Wembley Stadium on October 30th, 2022. That game will pit the Denver Broncos against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, home to the Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, is a brand new, 62,000-seat soccer stadium. Opened in 2019, Hotspur Stadium is the third-largest football stadium in England.

Construction cost £1 Billion and features amenities like; a cheese room, lounges, restaurants, a microbrewery, bakery, heated seats that include USB ports, and more.

Plus, the stadium boasts the longest bar in the UK, at 2,847 feet, and a retractable pitch to allow NFL games, concerts, and other types of events to be hosted on the field.

Enjoy the video below to see how the retractable field works:
