The Miami Heat have been doing all they can to get their hands on Damian Lillard. This is after the seven-time All-Star declared his desire to leave the Portland Trail Blazers. To give Miami even more motivation, Dame identified the Heat as his preferred destination.
According to rumors, Tyler Herro could end up becoming Miami’s sacrificial lamb. Herro has been integral to the team’s success over the past few years, and there’s no denying that losing him would be a big blow for the squad. However, if they are able to land Damian Lillard in the process, then it wouldn’t be surprising if the Heat are more than willing to pull the trigger on this potential blockbuster deal at the soonest possible time.
Tyler Herro Removes ‘Miami Heat Guard’ From Twitter Bio

Herro himself has done his bit to fuel the NBA rumors. On Sunday, the former Sixth Man of the Year decided to remove any and all association with the Miami Heat on his Twitter bio:

Not only did Tyler Herro remove the phrase “Miami Heat guard” from his Twitter profile, but he also decided to change his cover photo. From an image of himself practicing inside a Heat facility, the 23-year-old has now gone for a solid black photo. Could this be an indication of his imminent move away from South Beach?
At the end of the day, this could be much ado about nothing. It’s not uncommon for NBA players (or any single person on social media, for that matter) to change their Twitter bios. Then again, you have to admit that the timing of this move is, at the very least, a little bit suspicious.
Bucks Could Have Major Problem If Heat Land Damian Lillard

If the Heat are able to successfully recruit Lillard to Miami, then this could serve as a major headache for Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks. Let’s not forget that it was the Heat who eliminated the Bucks in the first round of the playoffs this past season. Milwaukee is going to be heading into the new season with pretty much the same squad, while the Heat lost a couple of major pieces in free agency. However, with Lillard in the mix, this team is going to be a different monster altogether.
