The Green Bay Packers 2024 regular season schedule is here. As was the case with every NFL team, the Packers released their schedule on social media using an entertaining video. Green Bay’s video starred Jordan Love, Jaire Alexander, Preston Smith, and Larry McCarren, and included cameo appearances from celebrities like Lil’ Wayne, Cary Elwes, and Joe Buck.

The video, which garnered praise from former Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari, was ranked in the top-five most viewed schedule releases among NFL teams. As always, the Los Angeles Chargers’ video was the most-viewed release.

Not long after the schedule was released, people started to examine it to help determine and predict what the Packers’ record would be, and that is when many recognized a concerning pattern.

Green Bay Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur Has Strong Reaction to Early Games

    Green Bay Packers, Matt LaFleur
Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur leaves the field after their wild card playoff game Sunday, January 14, 2024 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The Green Bay Packers beat the Dallas Cowboys 48-32.

In an interview posted on the Packers’ social media account, LaFleur answered questions from Larry McCarren regarding the schedule. He said that he and the team were excited to be able to put their plan for the season into action.

Our guys better wake up with their piss hot@bookseatscom pic.twitter.com/MPEzY7820Y

    — Green Bay Packers (@packers) May 16, 2024

When asked about six of their first eight games being played at noon, LaFleur said, “They better wake up with their p— hot,” meaning the players better wake up ready to play ball.

It certainly is strange to see so many noon games so early in the season and all grouped together as they are. Later in the season, the Packers play a stretch of several primetime games in a row, and could have one more added depending on when the NFL schedules their matchup with the Bears in Week 18.
