The Green Bay Packers may have defeated the Kansas City Chiefs back in December, but it is the Patrick Mahomes-led dynasty that once again sits atop the NFL after a 25-22 victory in Super Bowl LVIII. Former Packers quarterback coach Andy Reid became just the fifth head coach in NFL history with at least three Super Bowl victories, joining the likes of Bill Belichick (six), Chuck Noll (four), Joe Gibbs (three), and Bill Walsh (three).
Of course, many fans around the world were watching the game, not only for the great football being played on the field, but because of pop-star girlfriend of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Indeed, Taylor Swift’s presence at Kansas City’s games this season has led to a new wave of fan interest in the sport.
Back when the Chiefs came to Lambeau in December, fans created signs depicting Swift lyrics and puns. The Packers won that game 27-19 in what was one of the most anticipated games of the season.
Now that the 2023 NFL season is over and the Chiefs, once again, reign supreme, one former Packers player thinks the Chiefs need to get Swift fitted for a Super Bowl ring of her own.
Green Bay Packers Legend LeRoy Butler Says the Kansas City Chiefs Should Give Taylor Swift a Super Bowl Ring
Following the Chiefs’ victory in Super Bowl LVIII, Hall of Fame safety and Packers Super Bowl XXXI Champion LeRoy Butler posted the following on X (formerly Twitter):
Does @taylorswift13 deserve a #SuperBowl2024 Ring? Of course she does!! The @Chiefs needs to hook her up!! I’m so happy for coach Reid,he is a special Coach! Congrats !

Whether one agrees with Butler or not, it is hard to deny the impact that Swift’s presence has had for the Chiefs and the NFL as a whole. According to MarketWatch, Swift’s relationship with Kelce has made the NFL $331 million this season. Additionally:
“The Swift-Kelce relationship is on another level, as it has also increased viewership of select NFL games, with the ratings data for playoff games that have been released showing much bigger audiences than in prior years.”
That bigger audience, according to the report, is due to a large increase in female viewership.
