Former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson and guard Josh Sitton will hold a press conference at Lambeau Field on Thursday. They are this year’s Hall of Fame inductees. It has also been reported that Nelson chose the Packers’ director of rehab, Nate Weir, and Sitton chose James Campen to present them.

The Packers selected Jordy Nelson in the 2008 NFL Draft as the 36th overall pick. From 2008 to 2009, he was primarily responsible for returning punts and kicks alongside Tramon Williams. Later, in 2010, he emerged as Aaron Rodgers‘ preferred target. Jordy went on to play a vital role in helping the Packers secure their victory in Super Bowl 45. He continued playing with the Packers from 2008 to 2017, and during this time, he won the NFL Comeback Player of the Year award in 2016 and was selected for the Pro Bowl in 2014. He is now a proud Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame member.

In the 2008 NFL draft, the Packers selected Sitton in the fourth round. Throughout his career, Sitton achieved three Pro Bowl selections with the Packers (one with the Chicago Bears). He was also a member of the Super Bowl 45 team, establishing himself as one of the top guards in the league at that time. An intriguing statistic from Sitton’s career is that he started in 142 out of the 148 games he played.

Congratulations to Jordy Nelson and Josh Sitton for their induction into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame, leaving a lasting legacy in the team.
