Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love struggled in a 17-13 loss on the road on Monday night against the Las Vegas Raiders. Love completed 16-of-30 passes for 182 yards, zero touchdowns, and three interceptions. He threw two interceptions in the fourth quarter, and the offense has struggled over the past couple of games. Love also rushed for 37 yards on two carries in this football game.
The defense played well in this game, but it wasn’t enough for the offense to get going. Green Bay is now on a two-game losing streak, and they dropped to 2-3 on the season. They are now behind the Detroit Lions even further in the NFC North Standings, and they led the division with a 4-1 record on the season.
Jordan Love is starting to get going with Christian Watson. He caught three passes for 91 yards receiving. Watson was going to potentially score a touchdown in the third quarter with the game tied at 10, but he was horse-collared by Marcus Peters.
Luke Musgrave caught six passes for 34 yards receiving. What was totally inexcusable for Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers offense was that Romeo Doubs only had one catch for four yards receiving. He has been the Packers’ best receiver up to this point, but Watson is starting to find himself.
Jordan Love Stats For the Green Bay Packers Up to This Point
Love in five games played so far this season for the Packers, has only completed 55.6% of his passes. He has thrown for 1,083 yards, eight touchdowns, and six interceptions. Jordan Love has thrown six interceptions in the last three games played after not throwing any interceptions in the first two games of the 2023 NFL regular season.
The good news for this football team is that they will be on a Bye Week this week to clean things up on the offensive side of the football. The next game for the Packers will be on Sunday, October 22 in Week 7 against the Denver Broncos on the road. Denver does not have a very good defense, and they are 1-4 on the season.
That would be the game for Love to fix himself and get the offense rolling once again. Green Bay will have time to build chemistry on offense, potentially. They need Aaron Jones, Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, and Luke Musgrave all healthy together.
Love needs to complete more passes and needs to get off to better starts during football games. That is one of the things he will need to do after the bye week.
