One of the biggest talking points regarding the Green Bay Packers going into Week 6 of the 2024 NFL regular season is the situation involving wide receiver Romeo Doubs, who got suspended for a game by the team for detrimental conduct.
It is believed that Doubs’ suspension was a punishment for intentionally missing practice for Week 5’s showdown against the Los Angeles Rams on the road. With the suspension no longer in effect, Doubs is in line to return to action this coming Sunday versus the Arizona Cardinals at Lambeau Field.
Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love wants everyone to move on from Romeo Doubs saga
Green Bay quarterback Jordan Love is more than willing to move on from the Romeo Doubs saga, as he expressed his feelings about getting one of his downfield weapons back.
“I think everyone’s excited to have him back and I think we just move forward with it,” Love said, per Matt Schneidman of The Athletic.
Love should be glad to hear that Doubs is back, as he looks to continue establishing his rhythm under center after missing a couple of games due to an injury he sustained in Week 1’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil.
Even without Doubs absent in Week 5, Love and the Packers were able to pull off a 24-19 win against the Rams in Inglewood. Also missing downfield in that contest was Christian Watson, who continue to deal with an injury. Tight end Tucker Kraft stepped up in a big way for the Packers in the Rams game, as he had 88 receiving yards and two touchdowns on four catches and five targets, while Love passed for 224 yard with an interception on 15-of-26 completions.
