There are plenty of reasons to feel optimistic about the future of the Green Bay Packers and perhaps there’s nothing bigger than quarterback Jordan Love. The Packers young signal-caller proved he can do the job just fine as the team’s regular starter with an impressive 2023 campaign — Green Bay’s first season since parting ways with franchise icon Aaron Rodgers.
Although he lacked sufficient experience as a starter, Love exceeded expectations in 2023 with his brilliant play under center. He seemed to be especially effective when he was under pressure. In fact, there is statistical proof backing the Green Bay Packers star as the best QB in the entire league when being pressured on dropbacks (h/t Arjun Menon).

Is Regression Coming For The Green Bay Packers Young Quarterback?
Some would attribute that to luck and predict that a brutal regression is waiting for Love in 2024, but that was also shut down by Menon.
“That’s what they said about Herbert in 2020 after his rookie year and he took a big step forward,” Menon replied to a commenter about the real potential of Love experiencing a slump in his fourth year in the NFL.
Still, Love is the best option as quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, and the team should continue finding out what exactly they have in him. His 2024 will be particularly important to his future, as he can be a free agent by the end of the next campaign.
In 2023, Love passed for 4,159 yards and 32 touchdowns with 11 interceptions, while helping the Packers reach the NFL playoffs.
