After going to war against the San Francisco 49ers and losing to them, Jordan Love has come out of the current season as one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. And with a lot of ground gained in his improvement, there’s a lot to look forward to in his future.
After trading Aaron Rodgers away to the New York Jets, Love was handed the keys to the kingdom as the Packers’ starting quarterback. With that responsibility in his possession, he led the NFL’s youngest team to a surprising playoff run, which ended recently at the hands of the 49ers.
Even though Green Bay’s season has ended, Love remains the franchise’s most improved player and is showing a lot of promise next season. Even his teammates believe that the star quarterback will lead the Packers to a Super Bowl appearance in the years to come.
With so much hype surrounding Love these days, it’s easy to forget he still has a lot of time in the NFL. Hopefully, he gets to improve more and raise the Packers’ ceiling to dominant contenders throughout Love’s career.
Green Bay Packers’ Jordan Love Reveals Biggest Lesson Learned in 2023
Along with that hope comes several lessons Love learned in 2023. He shares the biggest lesson that stuck with him in an interview posted on the Packers’ official website.
“The game’s not over ’til it’s over. We learned that at the Saints. Being down 17 points going into the fourth quarter and everybody just being able to believe we still got a chance to, obviously, put together a comeback. The biggest lesson I learned here in NFL is that it’s not over, anything’s possible. A lot of things can happen in the last two minutes of the game,” Love said.
That admission shows the grit and resolve Love has to compete at all costs. It also exhibits his undying attitude to getting the win, no matter what the circumstances he and the Packers are facing on the field.
With that kind of mindset, it’s easy for Green Bay fans to root for Love as he goes to battle next season. Without a doubt, the Packers’ star quarterback is one player who can take another leap in the NFL soon.
