Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander practiced for the second consecutive day on Friday and he has been dealing with a shoulder injury. This is great news for Green Bay (3-6) because he is now on track to play on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers (4-5).
Alexander missed last week’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers (6-3). The only player to not participate at practice on Friday was Rudy Ford, who is dealing with a biceps injury and it appears as if he won’t be able to go on Sunday against Los Angeles.

As for Alexander this season, he has only played in five of the nine games this season. Barring anything at the last second for this weekend, he should be ready to go.

Jaire Alexander will most likely go up against Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen this weekend. Allen is dealing with an AC Joint injury of his own, but he is expected to play against Green Bay unless he can not play.
Green Bay Packers Fans React to Jaire Alexander Back at Practice Once Again on Friday

Alexander has not stayed on the field consistently this season. When he has played, he has recorded 22 tackles and four pass deflections. Some fans are excited that he will be back this weekend and then there are those who feels like he should stay out of the way.
Green Bay Packers fans had to say this on Twitter when seeing him back at practice on Friday:
Jaire will play he’s tough go pack go

Keep Jaire out on Sunday. I want to make sure that we keep that shoulder safe

Unfortunately, biceps will never be my excuse for not practicing. 😅

These are some interesting jokes by the Packers fanbase about Jaire Alexander. But as for Rudy Ford, he has recorded 58 tackles, picked off two passes, and has four pass deflections so far this season. Ford would be a huge loss at the safety position for Green Bay against a pass-first Los Angeles Chargers offense and quarterback Justin Herbert this weekend.
At least having Alexander back possibly is a good thing. Head Coach Matt LaFleur will talk about the injury report later today.
