Derrick Coleman’s Road to the Green Bay Packers

Coleman was initially signed by the Vikings in 2012 as an undrafted free agent. He spent time playing with the Seattle Seahawks, Atlanta Falcons, and Arizona Cardinals. Coleman was a part of the Seahawks team that won Super Bowl XLVIII.
According to a statement by the Packers, Coleman was a major force in the Seahawks’ running game.
“He played in 63 games with 18 starts in five seasons, recording 14 rushing attempts for 46 yards (3.3 avg.) and 15 receptions for 128 yards (8.5 avg.) and two touchdowns. Coleman served as a lead blocker for three 2,000-yard rushing teams and two individual 1,000-yard rushing seasons (RB Marshawn Lynch in 2013-14). He helped the Seahawks rank No. 1 in the NFL in rushing (150.4 ypg) from 2013-15.”
Coleman will now help Packers players who want to build their brand and manage finances. NFL player engagement also helps ensure players are being cared for mentally and physically.
