Former Green Bay Packers kicker Mason Crosby has been looking for a new job since the Packers decided to to re-sign him this off-season. The veteran kicker made sure to make it obvious that he is doing everything he can to stay in game ready shape.
Finally, prior to Week Eight of the season Crosby finally got a call.

After the Packers made the decision to move on from Crosby, he went unsigned and remains a free agent. It was reported on Wednesday morning, however, that he was invited to workout for the Los Angeles Rams after their released kicker Brett Maher.
Despite the fact that Crosby has been one of the more reliable kickers in the NFL over the last few seasons, there is one player that Rams fans seem to prefer.
Another veteran free agent kicker, Robbie Gould, was not brought back by the San Francisco 49ers after they decided to draft Jake Moody in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft. Along with Crosby, Gould remains a free agent and was not signed by any teams going into the season.
Green Bay Packers Fans React To Mason Crosby Getting Another Chance
Overall, Packers fans have been happy with Crosby’s replacement Andres Carlson. Through the Packers’ first six games he is 8/9 on field goal attempts (88.9%), and perfect on extra point attempts (12/12).
Seeing Crosby get a chance elsewhere was met with a lot of reactions:

Mason is awesome. He battled through an injury last season that limited his range, but his accuracy and clutch factor were still there. Still got a lot left in the tank.
