The Green Bay Packers entered the 2023 off-season with 14 unrestricted free agents. That number has slowly gone down in recent days. There have been two (so far) unrestricted free agents to find a new home, and many expect there to be more. Allen Lazard was the first former Green Bay Packers player to sign with a new team. Today we saw the second one sign with the Seattle Seahawks.
DT Jarran Reed Signs With Seattle Seahawks

Reunion: The #Seahawks are finalizing a deal to bring back DT Jarran Reed on a two-year deal, per sources.
— Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) March 14, 2023
The Seahawks drafted Reed in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He came to the Packers in 2022 on a one-year deal. Reed recorded 36 solo tackles, 28 stops, 33 pressures, 18 hurries, and four sacks for the Packers last season. Pro Football Focus gave him a 61.9 overall grade for his play With Green Bay. Reed earned a 60.5 overall grade for his pass-rushing skills in 2022.
Many thought that Jarran Reed would be the perfect fit next to star DT Kenny Clark. However, that wasn’t the case has he had an overall underwhelming 2022 season. When the news broke that Reed wouldn’t be returning, many fans took to social media to share their thoughts… and they didn’t hold back:

As previously mentioned, the Green Bay Packers have now lost two of their 14 unrestricted free agents. There are many reports that Marcedes Lewis, Robert Tonyan, and Randall Cobb could be on the way out as well. Many (if not all) of them could be headed to New York to play for the Jets in anticipation of the Aaron Rodgers trade.
