The Green Bay Packers, who defeated the Chicago Bears in the regular season finale to clinch their playoff spot will now travel to AT&T Stadium where the Dallas Cowboys await their arrival. This will be the first time these two opponents face off this season.
Green Bay Packers vs Dallas Cowboys Spread Set at 7.0, Over/Under 50.5 Total Points
The spread for Sunday’s NFC wildcard matchup is set at 7 points even in favor of the Cowboys. For Green Bay, AJ Dillon (neck) is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s contest. Christian Watson (hamstring) and Jaire Alexander (ankle) are listed as questionable. Backup quarterback Cooper Rush (illness) is the only injury designation listed for Dallas.
The Cowboys are a perfect 8-0 at home this season and have covered the spread in 10 of their 17 regular season games. Green Bay have won and covered the spread in 9 of their 17 games this season, but are sub .500 on the road with a 4-5 record.
The total points line is set at 50.5 for Sunday’s contest. Dallas is the highest scoring team at home by a mile, averaging 37.4 points per game at AT&T Stadium. The Packers sit in 2nd amongst the league with a 25.7 points per game average on the road. While these two teams have not matched up this season, there is value in the total points line to go over 50.5 points considering their offensive successes this season.
Aaron Jones Over 95.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards (-120 on FanDuel Sportsbook)
Since coming back from a sprained MCL that he suffered in November, Aaron Jones has been a dynamic piece of this Packers offense. In his last 3 games, Jones is averaging 135.5 scrimmage yards per game on 23.3 touches.
In his only 3 games against the Cowboys in his career, Jones has carried the ball 62 times for 370 yards and 6 touchdowns. With AJ Dillon doubtful for Sunday’s contest and the recent success shown, Jones to go over 95.5 scrimmage yards is my best bet of the contest.
Ceedee Lamb Over 97.5 Yards (-125 on Draft Kings Sportsbook)

Ceedee Lamb, who was named to this year’s Associated Press All-Pro first team has become one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. Even breaking the Cowboys single season record for receiving yards with 1,749. Lamb is averaging 119.4 receiving yards per game at home and Jaire Alexander’s injury may limit Green Bay in coverage if he cannot suit up. Which favors Lamb to go over 97.5 receiving yards on Sunday.
Jayden Reed Over 47.5 Receiving Yards (-120 on FanDuel Sportsbook)
With Christian Watson on the sidelines for the last few contests due to a hamstring injury, Jayden Reed has taken over as the Packers primary target. Reed has caught 10 balls for 201 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns in his last 2 games and Watson is listed as questionable for the contest. Reed to go over 47.5 receiving yards holds value for Sunday, but expect this line to jump a few yards if Watson is ruled out.
Coverage for Sunday’s NFC Wildcard game will begin at 4:30 PM Eastern Time on CBS.
