The Green Bay Packers held their second practice of the week on Thursday, but AJ Dillon was not able to suit up due to the neck injury that held him out of last week’s game versus the Chicago Bears and is now in danger of missing Sunday’s wildcard matchup versus the Dallas Cowboys.
AJ Dillon stretched and then went over by the rehab group during individuals.

Dillon was seen in pads stretching out with the team at the start of practice, but returned to rehab during the individual drills. Not logging reps for the second straight day raises questions on his availability come Sunday versus the Cowboys. Dillon will have one more chance to log a practice before Green Bay makes a ruling on his status. If he cannot suit up for Sunday, expect Patrick Taylor to log extra snaps as the backup to Aaron Jones.
RB Aaron Jones Practiced in Limited Participation Thursday for Green Bay Packers
Aaron Jones, who has run for at least 110 yards in his last 3 games logged a limited practice on Thursday after being listed on the injury report with a knee and finger injury. Jones may be without fellow backfield mate AJ Dillon for the wildcard matchup versus Dallas, which would put him in line to be the workhorse once again.
Jones had a total of 27 touches versus Chicago and was a big part of their offensive success last Sunday, running for multiple key first downs throughout the game which helped seal their playoff spot.
In his 3 career games versus the Cowboys, Jones has carried the ball 62 times for 370 yards and 6 touchdowns. While Dillon may be in danger of missing the contest, there is some comfort knowing that Jones has had success against Dallas throughout his career and could be in line for another big game on Sunday if the knee and finger are good to go.
