Former Green Bay Packers OL Corey Linsley Placed On IR With Scary Medical Diagnoses
Corey Linsley missed every practice this week due to an undisclosed injury, and now, Los Angeles Chargers have placed him on injured reserve with a non-emergent heart condition as of Saturday. No further details were given beyond that.
The Chargers’ staff and medical professionals are working with Linsley and his team to gather more information about his immediate future.
Since signing a five-year deal with the Chargers in 2021, Linsley has started 33 games. During Brandon Staley’s first season as head coach, he was the team’s free-agent crown jewel.
Justin Herbert’s development as a top young quarterback in the NFL has been incrementally aided by Linsley. Hopefully he will recover quickly from this very unfortunate situation.
