The Green Bay Packers have moved on from a number of wide receivers over the last few seasons. Whether it was via trade or refusing to commit to another contract, the Packers have ushered in a new era at the wide receiver position.
However, it is likely that one former Packers wide receiver may be on the move again.
One Former Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Is Officially On The Trade Block
The New York Jets are reportedly trying to move wide receiver Allen Lazard to upgrade their wide receiver room. Those are the words of The Athletic’s Zack Rosenblatt.
With Lazard set to make $10 million this season, just over $3 million would be saved from cutting Lazard. Given his atrocious play in 2023, perhaps finding a taker on the trade market would be worthwhile.
Despite high expectations, Lazard only managed 23 catches for 311 yards and just one touchdown in New York.

It is a little surprising to see that the Jets be willing to move on from Lazard without giving him a full season with Rodgers under center.
In 57 games with Aaron Rodgers, Allen Lazard has 170 catches for 2,262 yards and 19 touchdowns. The Jets will be looking to rebound from a disastrous 2023 season. Having as much continuity on field as possible would make a lot of sense.
