The Green Bay Packers have finalized their initial 53-man roster for the 2023 season. However, there will undoubtedly be tweaking that happens with every NFL roster between now and week one of the season. The Jets and Packers will be compared all season long, however, there is one player who could swap teams that would immediately help Jordan Love.
New York Jets Fail To Include Inside Offensive Lineman Trystan Colon On Their Initial 53-Man Roster

It was reported by ESPN’s Rich Cimini on Monday night that backup offensive lineman Trystan Colon has attracted the attention of several teams in the lead up to today’s deadline. An array of different teams have contacted the Jets about trading for the veteran lineman who was formerly with the Baltimore Ravens.
Despite the Jets committing to Colon to a one-year contract this offseason, he seems to be the odd man out in an offensive line room full of talent, since he is not listed on the initial 53-man roster.
Despite limited action with the Ravens, Colon has shown himself to be capable of playing at the guard and center positions.
The Green Bay Packers Have Had Consistency Struggles At Center This Pre-Season

There may be a change of guard at the center position for the Green Bay Packers this season. Since the beginning of the offseason, the Packers have given Zach Tom and other offensive linemen a chance to play center with the starting offense on a regular basis.
As he enters his third season with the team, Josh Myers hasn’t made the progress the team had hoped he would when he was selected in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
It is likely that Myers will lose his starting job by Week One if he continues to play at his current level. In this situation, Trystan Colon may be able to make a positive contribution. As well as adding depth to the interior offensive line, he would also bring a wealth of experience to the team. There’s no doubt that the Packers will struggle to give Jordan Love the best chance to succeed if the center position is not strengthened.
