The Green Bay Packers moved on from Aaron Rodgers just over one full calendar year ago, but that hasn’t stopped the future hall of famer from making headlines nearly every day.

Rodgers continues to be one of the more controversial players in the league, that was no different this weekend.

Former Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers Has Fans In A Frenzy With Donald Trump

According to Kevin Manahan of NJ.com:

Aaron Rodgers has hugged hundreds of opposing players before and after NFL games, but he had nothing for Donald Trump on Saturday night.

Thousands of fans cheered the freshly convicted former president and reached out to shake his hands at an Ultimate Fight Championship card at Prudential Center, but the Jets quarterback — who turned down the chance to be Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s vice presidential pick — couldn’t even be bothered to get out of his seat.

Rodgers — wearing a Yankees baseball cap — didn’t acknowledge Trump, who passed within feet as Trump and an entourage made a trumpeted entrance around 10 p.m.

Two days after a Manhattan jury convicted him on all 34 felony counts in his hush-money and election-interference case, Trump was escorted through crowd and to his ringside seat by UFC president and CEO Dana White — a longtime buddy — slapping and shaking hands with fans as lights flashed and music played.

Rodgers remained glued to his seat, however.

People need to realize that Aaron Rodgers doesn’t like Trump because in Aaron’s mind, Trump is too left for him. https://t.co/yqI3Oah8zn
