The Green Bay Packers find themselves in the middle of a playoff push come Week 14 of the 2023 NFL season.  After three straight wins against the Los Angeles Chargers, Detroit Lions, and Kansas City Chiefs, the Packers currently hold the seventh and final Wild Card spot in the NFC.

The offense has been firing on all cylinders as of late and Jordan Love has been performing like a potential franchise quarterback.  Now, it looks like the Packers could be getting a huge addition to their offense in the near future.

According to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic:

Aaron Jones back at practice for the first time since injuring his knee almost three weeks ago. Packers have an extra day this week before Monday night at the Giants.

Since spraining his MCL on Sunday, Nov. 19, Jones has missed back-to-back games, and the Packers listed him as a DNP during Week 12 and 13. Since he participated in individual drills Thursday, his activity level during the first set of on-field activities ahead of Monday’s matchup with the Giants will be revealed in the team’s initial Week 14 practice report.

Nonetheless, it is a great sign to see Jones back on the field for a team who is on the brink of making a playoff run.

Getting Aaron Jones Back Would Be Huge For This Team

Among an offensive group that is very young and inexperienced, Jones is easily the most established weapon. His 2023 campaign has been derailed by injuries, resulting in him playing only seven games. There can be an argument that he was hampered by something in one or two of these contests.

It will be interesting to see when Jones can come back an how healthy he will be.  It will be a shot in the arm for an offense that is already clicking.
