The Green Bay Packers schedule was leaked several hours before the NFL official release Thursday night. We’ll break down the five must-watch games for the upcoming season.
The Green Bay Packers will have many new faces
The Packers’ 2023 team will look drastically different than the 2022 version. The Packers are set to move onto the Jordan Love era after trading Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets. The offense will feature several new starters at tight end and wide receiver. The defense will also replace a few veteran members of the defensive line after Dean Lowry and Jarran Reed left in free agency.
With a lot of uncertainty this offseason, here are the five matchups that will tell us much about where the Green Bay Packers are this season.
5. Detroit Lions, Week 12

The second Thursday matchup between the Lions and Packers will be on Thanksgiving Day. The Lions are the current betting favorites to win the NFC North. The Packers will be hungry for revenge against the Lions after they knocked them out of a Wild Card spot in Week 18 last year.
The game will be the first of three national broadcast games in a row for the Packers, as they’ll play the Kansas City Chiefs and New York Giants in prime-time matchups the following weeks. The Thanksgiving game will be right in the meat of the schedule for Love and the Packers, and this might be their best chance of the three to get a much-needed win if they want a crack at a Wild Card spot this season.
