The Green Bay Packers will travel to San Francsico to take on the 49ers for an opportunity to play in the NFC championship game.  The matchup between these two opponents dates back over 70 years and this will be the 73rd game played against one another.

The spread for Saturday night’s NFC showdown is set at 9.5 points in favor of the 49ers.  While these two franchises are familiar with each other, they have not matched up this season.  Green Bay is 10-8 against the spread this season and are currently on a 5-game winning streak.  San Francisco is one win behind with a 9-8 record while winning 5 of their 8 games at home.

The total points line is set at 50.5.  Green Bay’s offense has been moving the ball downfield at an efficient rate, averaging 33 points per game in their last 5 contests and put up the 2nd most points in the league on the road.  San Francisco is putting up just under 28 points per game at home and have one of the best offenses in the league in terms of talent.  In a playoff game where there is expected to be mild temperatures, there is value in the total points line to go over 50.5.

George Kittle Over 50.5 Receiving Yards (-125 on Draft Kings Sportsbook)

George Kittle, who put up over 1,000 yards for the 49ers in the regular season is favored to go over his receiving yards line of 50.5 in Saturday’s playoff game versus the Packers.

Kittle has hit this line in 3 of the last 4 games versus Green Bay including a 129-yard performance and the Packers just let Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson catch 10 balls for 93 yards and 2 touchdowns last Sunday.  He has also gone over 51 receiving yards in his last 5 games at home.

Aaron Jones Over 89.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards (-120 on FanDuel Sportsbook)

Aaron Jones has returned to prime form after spraining his MCL back in November, scoring 3 times in the wildcard round versus the Dallas Cowboys.  Jones is averaging over 134 yards from scrimmage in his last 4 games and dropped a 170-yard performance in his last game versus San Francsico.  Jones to go over 89.5 scrimmage yards holds value in Saturday’s contest.

Luke Musgrave Over 19.5 Receiving Yards (-115 on Draft Kings Sportsbook)

Rookie tight end Luke Musgrave, who recently returned from injury reserve due to a kidney injury got his first look at playoff action last Sunday.  Musgrave caught all 3 of his targets for 52 yards including a 38 yard touchdown late in the 3rd quarter.  The 49ers give up around 48.6 yards per game on 7.4 targets to opposing tight ends, which makes Musgrave favored to go over 19.5 yards on Saturday.

Coverage for Saturday night’s NFC playoff matchup will begin at 8:15 PM Eastern time on FOX.
