Gilbert Brown had an amazing career on the football field. He is a member of the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame. But it’s what Brown is doing off the field is truly inspiring. I was able to chat with Gilbert Brown, about his foundation, and it was truly inspiring.
The Gilbert Brown Foundation
Gilbert Brown’s Foundation’s mission is; “Service youth in an environment that promotes structure and life skills awareness, by introducing team building skills and promoting diversity in the community.” The Gilbert Brown Foundation supports 156 children’s charities in Wisconsin. You can find those if you click here. Brown has also launched a Bullying Stops Here campaign as he goes to grade schools, middle schools and high schools to talk against bullying. Brown’s foundation also holds free football camps for kids. Many Packers legends have partnered with Brown and his foundation. Some of the players include Antonio Freeman, Donald Driver, Edgar Bennett, Jordy Nelson, Chad Clifton and many more.
