The Green Bay Packers now have a new quarterback after the departure of Aaron Rodgers. Jordan Love spent three NFL seasons under the former Packer quarterback. Fans are going to get to see what Love is all about when he takes his first regular season snap as a starter. He did get some experience playing under Rodgers, but it is time to see if we have something special with the four year quarterback.
There is one former NFL quarterback who thinks the Green Bay Packers are going to get something special with the new signal caller. Ryan Leaf recently commented on Good Morning Football about his thoughts on
Jordan Love, and the Green Bay Packers.
Former NFL Quarterback Ryan Leaf’s Thoughts on Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers
“I think we’re gonna get something special. When we’re all said and done here we’re gonna go, ‘Green Bay did it again!’”

Jordan Love’s Preseason Stats And Returning Players in 2023
During this preseason as an official starter, Jordan Love went 21-33 for 183 yards and three touchdown passes. Surely, most of his completions were on short passes. But Love has time to work on accuracy and timing with his receiving core.
The Green Bay Packers offensive line is returning most of it’s starters. Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, and Samori Toure are returning as pass catchers from last season. Green Bay also has incoming rookie receivers in Jayden Reed, Malik Heath and DonTayvion Wicks after the initial 53-man roster was released earlier this week. Aaron Jones and backup running back AJ Dillon will once again be in the backfield for 2023.
What Packers Fans Are Waiting For In 2023
Packers fans are waiting anxiously to see what the new quarterback is capable of. Most have only seen Love come into a game behind Aaron Rodgers or during the 2023 preseason. Jordan Love has to get used to his receivers, most have one year completed from last season. The Green Bay Packers have to prove the people wrong, that may not see them having much success. Most fans are hoping for a winning season as it goes on.
Green Bay will be young this season. More so, on the offensive side of the ball, and overall in the entire league. Speed and athleticism should help them with the younger players as Randall Cobb, and Allen Lazard have been traded to the New York Jets along with the Packers former quarterback in Aaron Rodgers. Fans will be hoping for the best this season with the new quarterback under center and leading the team. It could definitely turn into something special for fans and the state of Wisconsin this fall.
