Former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams has been frustrated with the Las Vegas Raiders. He has not been getting many catches on the field. Though thrown to, he cannot produce with a limited role in his position.
The Las Vegas Raiders lost on Monday Night Football to the Detroit Lions by a score of 26-14. This loss came on the road, dropping their record to 3-5. After the game, the former Green Bay Packers receiver addressed his frustration to the media.
Former Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Davante Adams Still Frustrated In Limited Role With Raiders
On Monday Night, Davante Adams was only targeted seven times. He only caught one pass for seven yards. During the loss, he did not score any touchdowns. With Adam’s not receiving the ball, it has held the Raiders offense down for several weeks. When the game concluded, Davante Adams was at a loss for words when speaking to the media.
Raiders WR Davante Adams: "I honestly … I don't know what to say at this moment. I truly don't. I wish I had the words to say something that's not gonna get blown up in the media or taken out of context."

This is not the first time that Adams has shown frustration this season. Undoubtedly, he is the best wide receiver that the Las Vegas Raiders have on their team. With the limited role continuing, Davante Adams may want to leave Las Vegas.
Davante Adams Trade Rumors
Last week, it was reported that Adams was linked to being traded to the San Francisco 49ers. This could have been done before the trade deadline, which is today, October 31. Obviously, it did not happen. This may have been a good move, considering that Davante Adams is from California.
His former Green Bay Packers teammate, Aaron Rodgers, grew up as a 49ers fan and attended the University of California before being drafted by the Packers. It may have been an interesting situation if Adams could head back to his home state and play.
It would have put the former Packers wideout in a better position for success since San Francisco is having a winning year, sitting at 5-3.
Adams Stats With The Las Vegas Raiders
This is not the type of season that Davante Adams dreamed of having. In eight games this season, he has 47 receptions for 593 yards and three touchdowns. His frustration is being noticed all around the NFL. With nine games left in the regular season, it may not get any better for the Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver.
If the former Green Bay Packers wide receiver does not start getting a bigger role in the Raiders offense, he may not want to hit the field any longer this season. In fact, being that the Las Vegas Raiders are under .500, it could be very possible going forward.
Sure, he wants to play, but having the frustration continue each week would make any player emotional or not know what to say when nothing is getting better.
