The Chicago Bears dropped their 10th in a row to the Green Bay Packers Sunday afternoon. Jordan Love and the Packers punched their ticket to the 2023-24 post-season in the form of a 17-9 win over Chicago.
The loss certainly didn’t sit well with many of the Bears players. In fact, one felt the need to lash out at the Packers in an extremely disrespectful manner.
Chicago Bears Star Jaquan Brisker Lashes Out At The Green Bay Packers After Week 18 Loss

According to Bears beat writer Mark Grote:

“I felt like we could have tightened up on the receivers a lot more than we did today. We gave them too much room and I really have no respect for them at all, just to be honest.”
Why?
“No one’s over there. No respect. They have no stars over there. They try to play a little fake tough.”
What’s fake tough?
“Just doing extra stuff after the play, grabbing peoples face masks after the play and things like that. Just doing a lot of dirty stuff to get us flagged and stuff like that.”

Sunday’s contest saw Jayden Reed go over 100 yards receiving, Dontayvion Wicks catch two touchdown passes. And the Packers once again went 2-0 against Chicago. Oh, and the Packers are headed to the playoffs while the Bears have once again finished the season last place in the division (tied with Minnesota).
To say that Green Bay “has no stars” when referring to the wide receiver position is pretty hilarious given that Brisker is directly tasked with covering that position. It will be interesting to see Jordan Love’s record against the Chicago Bears when he hangs up the cleats.
