The Chicago Bears fanbase was vocal about beating the Green Bay Packers in Week 18 on Sunday night. The Packers’ victory over the Minnesota Vikings officially knocked the Bears out of playoff contention.
The Bears season hasn’t gone as many fans thought it would before the season. Many Bears fans bragged before Week 1 that Chicago would have a better chance to make the playoffs than the Packers. However, Jordan Love’s play has been good enough to get the Packers one game away from the playoffs, even with a young, injured team.
The Packers blew out the Bears 38-20 in Chicago to start the season. That game appeared to stun the Bears after an offseason of hope. They should be able to handle the Bears in Green Bay next Sunday afternoon.
