The Milwaukee Bucks injury report has been updated and provides some great news for fans and the team. After playing without stars Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, and Jrue holiday in Sunday’s 118-95 loss at home to the Washington Wizards, the Bucks are expected to get two of them back. Milwaukee takes on Washington again on Tuesday night at Fiserv Forum.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday Injury Update
After being held out of Sunday’s game with left knee soreness, Giannis is listed as “probable” for Tuesday’s matchup. So far this season, the Greek Freak is averaging 32.1 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game.
Jrue Holiday, who has not played since the Bucks’ Christmas Day loss to the Boston Celtics, has missed over a week due to a non-COVID illness. Like Giannis, he is listed as “probable” on the latest injury report. Holiday is averaging 18.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 7.3 assists per game this season.
In addition to these two stars, backup point guard George Hill is also listed as “probable” after missing time with a non-COVID illness.
Khris Middleton Remains Out
Three-time All-Star Khris Middleton will remain out with right knee soreness. The Bucks play Washington again on Tuesday and then travel to Toronto to take on the Raptors on Wednesday. Per Eric Nehm of The Athletic, Middleton will not be playing in either of those games:
Budenholzer said Khris Middleton did not practice today, but he "did some individual work on the court, did some weight room work."
Asked if Middleton will be able to play in either of the Bucks back-to-back games on Tuesday and Wednesday, Budenholzer said, "No, he won't play."
