Wade Miley will toe the slab for the Brewers on Saturday. He is 0-4 with a 5.68 ERA and 1.64 WHIP in 12 starts against the Yankees. The lefty last faced them in 2022, firing three shutout innings. He scattered three hits and a walk while striking out two. The former All-Star is 0-1 with a 5.94 ERA and 1.79 WHIP in eight starts at Yankee Stadium. The Yankees’ DJ LeMahieu has seen Miley 22 times, going 7-for-22 (.318 average) with a home run. Teammate Aaron Judge owns a .528 OBP against Miley but has just three singles in nine at-bats. However, Miley has held Giancarlo Stanton to just one hit in nine at-bats.
Miley is 1-2 with a 4.13 ERA in his last five starts. The Brewers are 2-3 in those games. The 36-year-old is holding opposing hitters to a .216 batting average in that span but has coughed up seven home runs.
Michael King has never faced the Milwaukee Brewers. However, he is 2-2 with a 2.72 ERA and 1.09 WHIP in 43 innings against the National League. There may not be a hotter hitter in the American League than Yankees rookie Jasson Dominguez. The top prospect has launched four home runs and driven in seven runs in his first seven major league games. Star slugger Aaron Judge also remains hot, posting an on-base percentage over .600 over his last eight games.
However, fellow rookie Austin Wells has shared a different luck than Dominguez. The backstop is just 2-for-17 to start his career in pinstripes.

I like both pitchers to post strong lines on Saturday. The Brewers’ Wade Miley has pitched fantastically as a member of the Brewers, regardless of it being this year or back in 2018. Meanwhile, The Yankees’ Michael King has been the best pitcher for New York outside Cy Young favorite Gerrit Cole. So, with a suspect New York bullpen, let’s roll with the under in the first five innings.
