Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander missed practice on Friday and after he was limited on Thursday at practice with a back injury. His playing status on Sunday on the road against the 1-5 Denver Broncos is now in doubt, with him missing practice. Alexander returned from a back injury on Monday, October 9, against the Las Vegas Raiders.
This would be a huge loss for the Packers this weekend. On Wednesday, Alexander was not listed on the injury report at all, and his injury progress has gotten worse throughout the week. If Alexander is ruled out on Sunday for the Packers, expect KeSean Nixon to take his spot in the lineup.
Alexander did not have a helmet on during the team stretch on Friday, and he also did not go outside after the team stretch. He would have been lined up, most likely against Jerry Jeudy, this weekend against the Denver Broncos.

The fanbase has some strong reactions to Alexander missing practice on Friday. If he is indeed sidelined on Sunday for the Packers, then it is going to be tough in the secondary without him. Even without Alexander, they should win this game. If they don’t win this game, a lot of heads will roll and there will be a lot of angry Packers fans come Sunday night also.
