The NBA’s Board of Governors has voted to approve the NBA’s 22-team proposal to restart the 2019-2020 season.

The 22 teams will finish the season at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. Automatically included are the top 16 teams from each conference. Five Western Conference teams and one Eastern Conference team will join them. New Orleans, Portland, San Antonio, Phoenix, Sacramento, and Washington are the reported teams currently outside of the playoff picture who will join.

In addition, there will be a play-in tournament for the final eighth seeds in the playoffs. Teams will report to Disney in July for training later in the month after an initial training period in team facilities.
