There Is Good News, Bucks Fans
Bucks fans, do you remember last offseason? Bobby Portis opted out of his deal then to re-sign with the Milwaukee Bucks for more money. As Mark Stein reported weeks ago, this is surely what is going to happen again. You see, the Bucks own Portis’ Early Bird Rights. This means that they can offer him a maximum four-year deal worth about $44 million to $49 million. The best part is that since they own his rights, the Bucks are allowed to go over the salary cap in order to retain Portis.
Free agency begins on June 30. Bobby Portis a hot name on the market, so expect a deal to get done soon.
