Baltimore Orioles outfielder Colton Cowser had a big series against the Milwaukee Brewers and will make his name known across the MLB for the rest of the season. Even with the Brewers winning the series against the Orioles despite losing 6-4 on the road on Sunday, Cowser once again put his mark on the game.
With Baltimore leading 5-4 in the eighth inning against Milwaukee, Colton Cowser hit a solo home run to give the Orioles an insurance run. It was his fourth home run of the season and it was also his 13th RBI of the year. To start the 2024 season, he has a .441 batting average and he is only a rookie and only going to get better with time.

The Orioles farm system is deep with young talent and Cowser is the latest example of Mike Elias’s excellent drafting. In the three-game set against the Milwaukee Brewers, Colton Cowser went 4-for-10 with two home runs and two RBIs, along with one stole base.

He is playing left field for Baltimore and Milwaukee will not be the last series that he does well in this season. The Brewers and the rest of the MLB will find out that Cowser is going to be in the American League Rookie of the Year race, along with Orioles teammate shortstop Jackson Holiday.
There is so much talent in Baltimore that they have MLB-caliber players in the minor leagues, especially at Triple-A with the Norfolk Tides.

Cowser told Jacob Calvin Meyer of the Baltimore Sun about his hot start to the 2024 season by saying:
” If you fail, so what? At least you’re going down guns a-blazing.”
The good news is that Cowser is not afraid to fail and he will be taking his swings with the Orioles all season long. The Brewers will not be facing the Orioles again this season and the only way they can meet is if they face each other in the 2024 World Series.
