Spring 2020 was a historically weird time. It was election season, the Patriots dynasty finally ended, and oh yeah, there was also a worldwide pandemic that shut everything down. The NFL Draft that year was no different. There was no stage, as all participants (including Commissioner Goodell) had to stay at home during the event. The picks that year were also bizarre, as well as all-time great. Joe Burrow was selected at number 1, and has already etched his name in the NFL history books. Justin Herbert, Tua Tagovailoa, and Jalen Hurts were all also chosen for their franchises, and…
While the Green Bay Packers are a good team, the Kansas City Chiefs are the team to beat in the NFL right now. The first team in 2 decades to win back-to-back championships, there’s no doubt they’re on top right now. But who, if anybody, can dethrone them? The 49ers, the Bills, and the Ravens have all seen their windows all but shut this postseason. The Bengals still have a wide open window given their history with the Chiefs, but Joe Burrows’s health will always be in question. He, along with Justin Herbert and some of the other young QBs,…
What Went Wrong With AJ Dillon In The 2023 Season? How The Quadfather Can Get Back To Being Powerful
The 2023 Green Bay Packers season was a surprisingly eventful one, to say the least. To the greater football world, it may have been forgettable aside from the Packer’s hilarious win over the Dallas Cowboys in the playoffs. However, to Packers fans, this past season may have gone down as one of the most rollercoaster up-and-down seasons the team has ever had. We may be looking back at it years from now as an essential building block year for the Jordan Love era, as lots of new players put the league on notice. One player who did not establish himself…
LeBron James and Steph Curry are the 2 best NBA players of the newer generation. They’re certainly 2 of the most popular and famous. With that being said, Giannis Antetokounmpo has fought for his right to be up there alongside them as one of the greatest 21st-century athletes not just in the NBA, but in all of sports. The former world champion, Finals MVP, and 2x regular season MVP could retire tomorrow and would be a first-ballot hall of famer. The thing that LeBron, Curry, and Giannis have in common is that they’re amazing teammates. They’re friendly, honest, loyal, and…
It’s believed that defense wins championships in football. As far as the Green Bay Packer’s history is concerned, that motif rings true. The defenses throughout much of Aaron Rodgers’s tenure were suspect at best and resulted in a lot of unfortunate early exits. The year he won it all, the Packers D was a unit that involved the likes of Charles Woodson, BJ Raji, Clay Matthews, and the list goes on and on. While Jordan Love’s expectations are just starting to grow, it won’t be long before he’ll be criticized for not holding a Lombardi trophy. While the Packers can…
Jordan Love, after 3 years of learning from Aaron Rodgers as a backup, finally stepped into the spotlight as the Packer’s starter in the 2023 season. Replacing Rodgers was no easy task, but Love has stood up to the test thus far. Stats aren’t everything, but Love’s 4,159 yards, 32 TDs, and 11 INTs made for an impressive debut for Packers and football fans everywhere. Love’s success has made some comparisons to other great modern QBs, including Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes. It’s early, but Love went toe to toe with Mahomes and beat him in that Week 13 primetime thriller.…
To say Jordan Love has exceeded expectations would be an understatement. The QB who, for all intents and purposes, just finished his rookie year, was among the best QBs in yards, touchdowns, and TD-INT ratio. If you like PFF or ESPN’s advanced metrics, then you’ll also “love” Love. However, this hasn’t stopped the critics from being critical. His throw into triple coverage to end the season wasn’t pretty. He threw a lot of TDs, but not as many as Rodgers or Mahomes have in their MVP seasons. Throwing for less than 40 TDs isn’t attractive anymore, even in a year…
