The Green Bay Packers might be good right now, but the Kansas City Chiefs have built one of the best dynasties in sports history. Unlike a lot of other dynasties, it isn’t built just off of one athlete. Sure, Patrick Mahomes means a lot, and without him, the team would be perennially 11-5 wild card contenders like they were with Alex Smith. But just like the Golden State Warriors, the Chiefs wouldn’t be much without Mahomes just like how the Warriors would be without Curry. Also like the Warriors, there have been other superstars that will be in the Hall…
The Green Bay Packers are one of the most beloved and fervent franchises in all of sports. It’s very hard to rank how passionate a fanbase is, but considering how much of the Pack shows up and shows out at away games. What can be measured is franchise valuation. While how much money the owner has and invests into the team matters, what the prices for everything are. etc. all matter, valuation is a good mark on how much demand the team has with its tickets and merchandise. Sportico just released its highly anticipated list of all team valuations of…
The Madden franchise has dominated the gaming industry for better or worse over the last 2 decades. Love Madden or hate it, it’s racked up a rabid fanbase of fans who spend billions of dollars on MUT alone, meaning EA will continue to make the NFL a boatload of money and keep the license in the process. The cover of Madden has been one of the most beloved features of the Madden product. While the actual gameplay will perpetually be lambasted (for good reason), almost everyone, including the game’s biggest haters, looks forward to and appreciates the cover athlete announcement. …
If you were to ask Green Bay Packers fans what the team should improve upon in the off-season, you’d likely hear multiple things. You’d hear some people say that the offense needs more weapons and offensive linemen. You’ll hear that the team needs another RB to go alongside Aaron Jones. More often than not, however, Packers fans will be ranting and raving about how the defense needs to take a step up next year. Fixing a defense is a lot easier said than done, however. The team already got their DC for the future in Jeff Hafley. With their massive…
Justin Fields has been the biggest topic of discussion since the Super Bowl. The Bears QB has been rumored to be replaced by one Caleb Williams, who has his hands all over the 1st overall pick when the draft comes in April. In the last week, there’s been lots of speculation about where Fields will end up. Will he play in Atlanta or Pittsburgh? Or will he just stay in Chicago while they trade away the pick but for draft capital? In a division where the Vikings and Lions have won it the last 2 years, and the Packers are…
For years and years, Green Bay’s beloved Aaron Rodgers has been in the GOAT debate. For a long time he was seen as a top 10 all-time QB, then as the MVPs racked up he was seen as an actual candidate for greatest of all time. However, despite Rodgers bringing in 4 of those beloved MVP awards, no Lombardi trophies followed after that crazy Super Bowl run in 2010. Given Tom Brady’s run it seems easy to chalk it up as no one being to beat the real GOAT. However, Patrick Mahomes’ new run has somewhat dispelled that notion. A…
Aaron Rodgers’s first year with the New York Jets was odd. While the season was a complete disaster for the Jets as an organization, it wasn’t entirely Rodgers or even the team’s fault. The ACL tear in Aaron’s first series as a Jet was both devastating and unfortunate. What made the year a complete mess, however, was how the injury still somehow exposed things that were probably going to be exposed if Aaron played the entire season anyway. The offensive line was likely going to get Aaron injured regardless of the fluke ACL tear because of how poor it was.…
The MLB off-season was a historic one. Shohei Ohtani was the biggest move, changing organizations to the super team on the other side of town. There were other moves such as Jordan Hicks going to the Giants and the Dodgers acquiring Yoshinobu Yamamoto. The Brewers throughout most of the off-season were fine, doing the same type of smaller moves they do every year. Towards the end of the off-season, however, Brewers fans were devastated to find out that arguably the best pitcher in all of baseball, their beloved Corbin Burnes, had been traded to the Baltimore Orioles for big-game pitching prospect…
It’s crazy to think that the AFC’s Lamar Hunt trophy has been won by the Kansas City Chiefs in 4 out of the last 5 years. Despite having QBs such as Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert, Trevor Lawrence, Deshaun Watson, Tom Brady, Tua Tagovailoa, CJ Stroud, Russell Wilson, Aaron Rodgers, Ben Roethlisberger, and Phillip Rivers all playing at some point during that time, the Chiefs have made it to the big game on 4 occasions. Utterly insane. It honestly seems like the best shot to dethrone the Chiefs in the postseason would be from an NFC team.…
The Green Bay Packers made a somewhat controversial move in the 2023 NFL draft when they decided to go with pass rusher Lukas Van Ness from Iowa. On the one hand, Packers fans wanted to add to the defense, especially in such a defense-heavy draft. On the other hand, there were many wide receivers on the board, including young sensations Zay Flowers and Jordan Addison. Even with the receiving core doing as well as it did, those 2 guys playing sensationally have given multiple teams FOMO. If Van Ness was the impact player that many fans were hoping for then…
