The Milwaukee Bucks cut ties with guards Luca Vildoza and Rayjon Tucker earlier this week. The moves were somewhat of a surprise with the NBA Summer League starting on Friday. It was also surprising, at least as far as Vildoza was concerned, because the Bucks had signed him midseason last year and kept him on their playoff roster.
David Carro, Vildoza’s agent, went on 3×3 Radio in Argentina to discuss the roster move:
"´¿Qué querés? ¿La buena noticia o la mala? La mala es que te van a cortar los Bucks. La buena es que te van a volver a contratar el viernes´. Están super contentos con Luca Vildoza. La idea es que se quede con ellos toda la temporada"

For those who cannot read Spanish, Carro said the following of his conversation with his client:
“‘What do you want? The good news or the bad news? The bad news is that the Bucks are going to cut you. The good news is that they’re going to rehire you on Friday.’ They’re super happy with Luca Vildoza. stay with them all season”
On Vildoza’s chemistry with other Bucks players, Carro said, “He is well loved within the Bucks squad. He fell into the locker room like a blessing. The boys love being with Luca.”
I guess Carro would know. His agency also represents Giannis Antetokounmpo.
What Will the Bucks Do Next?
The Milwaukee Bucks have certainly had a busy offseason. Even though they have another roster spot open, Jordan Nwora remains un-signed. It certainly sounds like Luca Vildoza will be back, as are Bobby Portis, Serge Ibaka, Wesley Matthews, and Jevon Carter.
Jon Horst has something else up his sleeve. Unfortunately, no one knows what it is.
