Former Green Bay Packers and current New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is known for his affinity for symbolism and astrology. In recent years, he has embraced the practice of getting meaningful tattoos that have cryptic meanings.
His first tattoo, which he got while he was still with the Packers, is a complex design loaded with meanings that are known to very few:

He did, however, previously reveal that this tattoo, among other things, is a tribute to his godson. Rodgers actually has two godsons, one of which is one of Randall Cobb’s children.
Last week, Balazs Bercsenyi, the Hungarian tattoo artist who did Rodgers’ first tattoo, posted a picture of a second tattoo that Rodgers recently got. Bercsenyi, who Rodgers refers to as his “Hungarian brother,” also did this design.

As seen, the design is of a dragon that is also in the shape of an infinity symbol. It is also in the shape of his new number, 8, with the Jets.

Rodgers told McAfee, “I love dragons. The sideways eight is infinity obviously. And then the two and the twelve is an ode to my Godson.”
McAfee asked Rodgers if the tattoo, with his Jets’ number, meant that he planned on staying with that franchise forever.
“No, that is not what it means,” Rodgers replied. Despite his messy divorce from the Packers earlier this year, he has said on multiple occasions that he is looking forward to going back in retirement.
