Days after the news broke that Aaron Rodgers tested positive and was not formally vaccinated, he made his first public appearance on the Pat McAfee Show.
On the show, he admitted he could not get the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines because he was allergic to an ingredient. He stated that he was open to the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. However, due to blood clotting issues, he chose to explore alternate routes.
"I'm not an anti-vaxx, flat-earther.. I have an allergy to an ingredient that's in the mRNA vaccines. I found a long term immunization protocol to protect myself & I'm very proud of the research that went into that" ~@AaronRodgers12#PatMcAfeeShowLIVE pic.twitter.com/FDMmI5rZmO

Rodgers stated that he made it clear to the Packers and the NFL that he was not vaccinated. As a result, he has been getting tested daily. In addition, he said he has followed some of the required protocols for unvaccinated players.
Aaron stated multiple times that he did not lie in August when the media asked if he was vaccinated. He clarified that he said he was immunized with help from his team of doctors. Additionally, he would’ve clarified if any media had asked any follow-up questions, but nobody did.
Overall, Rodgers offered a lot of insight into his situation on Pat McAfee’s show and said that if he continues to test negative, he could play against Seattle on November 14th.
For the next week and a half, Aaron Rodgers will have to watch football from home.
