Aaron Rodgers may be on his way out of Green Bay. From the sounds of it, the Green Bay Packers and New York Jets are currently trying to finalize a trade. For the last 18 years, Aaron Rodgers has spent every football season in the city of Green Bay. During his time there, he has become a regular at a few local establishments. Now that he is likely on his way out of Green Bay, he took the time to call out one specific business that he adores.
Aaron Rodgers Calls Out Local Business On His Way Out Of Green Bay
According to Brady Meyer of Fox 11 News:
Aside from saying that he intends to play for the Jets on The Pat McAfee Show Wednesday afternoon, Rodgers also gave a shout-out to some of his favorite Green Bay businesses.
“I do love Green Bay. I mean, I love the people,” said Rodgers. “I love going to Chives; I love seeing my buddy Logan. I love going to India Bhavan — an incredible Indian spot in town. I love my boy Rob at FrameMakers. I love so many people in that town.”
Logan Higgins of Chives in Suamico left this comment on FOX 11’s Instagram post:
going to miss seeing @aaronrodgers12 here at @chivesrestaurant_gb every week for many years. I’m going to miss you my friend, thanks for everything you’ve done. Best of luck on the next chapter
“A friend of mine called and said he gave me the shoutout and I was just like, ‘No way,'” said Fairman. “So, I was able to catch it and I was like, ‘Awe, awesome.’ It was really cool.”
He says he’s grown close to Rodgers on a personal level since the quarterback joined the Packers in 2005.
“I didn’t even know who he was when he first came in,” said Fairman. “I asked him for his name and he said, ‘Aaron Rodgers.’ And I said, ‘Oh, didn’t we just draft you?’ But he comes in every year, and we’ve kind of become friends. I know it’s odd to say.”
For all the scrutiny that Aaron Rodgers may be receiving during this trade saga, he certainly made a positive impact on the local community during his time in Green Bay. Local businesses have benefited greatly from Green Bay Packers players frequenting their establishments, Aaron Rodgers has been no different.
