The Green Bay Packers host the San Francisco 49ers at Lambeau Field on Saturday night in the divisional round of the playoffs. The Packers are 11-9 in the playoffs under Aaron Rodgers, including a 5-3 mark at Lambeau Field. This team has all the makings of a squad that can reach the Super Bowl. There’s a lot on the line, but in a year of breaking record after record, there’s yet another milestone that Rodgers could reach.
Aaron Rodgers’ Next Big Milestone
Rodgers is currently tied with Joe Montana for second all-time in passing touchdowns in the playoffs. With just one touchdown pass, he’ll sit all alone at number two behind the ageless Tom Brady. Given the possibility of some freezing temperatures on Saturday, it might be tougher to throw the ball than usual. However, we expect Rodgers to target Davante Adams and Allen Lazard heavily and hopefully break that tie. Who knows – maybe if the Packers go on a run, as Rodgers said he thinks they can do, he could get even closer to Brady. Packers fans can only hope.
