New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers played a few series in the preseason finale against the New York Giants in a Jets 32-24 win over the Giants. All offseason, long before the preseason game, he has been developing chemistry with wide receiver Garrett Wilson.
Aaron Rodgers Connecting With Garrett Wilson in Preseason
Rodgers threw a 14-yard touchdown pass in the game in the first quarter to Wilson. Aaron Rodgers made the throw look so easy to Garrett Wilson, who could potentially be one of the best wide receivers in the NFL in his second season. In this preseason contest, Aaron Rodgers completed 5-of-8 passes for 47 yards and a touchdown.
Wilson caught three passes for 30 yards receiving and one touchdown in the game. He averaged 10 yards per reception.

This will be a connection this season that a lot of people are going to have to get used to. This could be one of the best quarterback-wide receiver combos by the end of the regular season.

Aaron Rodgers Has Praised Garrett Wilson From the Beginning
From the get-go, Rodgers has had high praise for Wilson. Aaron Rodgers played with Davante Adams for several years with the Green Bay Packers and knew what he did best. Rodgers feels as if Garrett Wilson has similar traits to him.
