The excitement around Wisconsin Badgers recruiting is at an all-time high. Luke Fickell and his staff are attracting attention from high-level recruits. One position that is seeing a lot of traction is the quarterback position. The Badgers have already scored some commitments in that position and have their sights set on the future. An offer has been extended to a class of 2025, 4-star quarterback, George MacIntyre.

Wisconsin Badgers Recruiting: George MacIntyre
MacIntyre is a 6-foot-5 178-pound quarterback out of Brentwood, Tennessee. He is one of the most coveted recruits of the 2025 class. He is the no. 2 ranked quarterback in the class and the 30th overall ranked recruit in 2025. He already has 25 Division I offers including Tennessee, Michigan, Alabama, and Auburn. Tennessee is considered the favorite simply based on location but nothing is set in stone.

I don’t know whether Wisconsin will land this recruit. Going up against the likes of Alabama, Tennessee, and the rest of the SEC not to mention other powerhouses is a tall task. However, the fact that Wisconsin is even in the running speaks to what Fickell has been able to do in such a short time. A year ago, there is no way someone like MacIntyre would consider Madison. Now, with offensive coordinator Phil Longo bringing his air raid offense, prospects are looking to Wisconsin as a legit place to build their career. Regardless of whether they land this recruit, the fact that Wisconsin is in the mix is a good thing.
The news of offers keeps coming in. Fickell and his staff are hard at work to make sure that Wisconsin is a powerhouse in college football for years to come.
