The Green Bay Packers will get a much-needed offensive weapon back this week. The Packers will take on the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football this week. For the first time in over a month, the Packers will have their full set of offensive weapons.
Romeo Doubs Will Reportedly Be Back For Green Bay
Romeo Doubs practiced at full speed on Tuesday. The Green Bay Packers wide receiver said he expects to play this week. This is according to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic. Doubs has missed the last four games with an ankle injury he suffered against the Detroit Lions in Week 9. The injury occurred on the offense’s first play from scrimmage when Doubs made an 18-yard catch that ended with a hard hit on his right ankle. He never returned after being carted to the locker room. Doubs almost returned to the field for the Bears-Packers game before the bye week, but the coaching staff decided against it. Now with the bye week of rest under his belt, Doubs is 100% ready to go.
In nine games this season, Doubs has caught 31 passes for 314 yards and three touchdowns on 50 targets. He is averaging 10.1 yards per reception. It has been widely discussed how impactful both Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson can be together on the same offense. They will hopefully get that chance over these next four games. If Green Bay does in fact miss the playoffs this year, these two wide receivers will be a big piece to the offense next year.
