Matt LaFleur provides an update on offensive star Saturday
The Green Bay Packers are practicing Saturday as they prepare for their game on a chilly Monday night. Head coach Matt LaFleur spoke to the press before their final practice before they play the Los Angeles Rams. He gave an update on a Packers offensive star whose status was questionable heading into this week.
Bakhtiari has been fluid up until game time this year as he battles back from his ACL injury. However, Bakhtiari added another medical complication to his status recently. He had an appendectomy before the Packers’ Week 13 game against the Chicago Bears. On Thursday, LaFleur said it was a “longshot” for the All-Pro lineman to play against the Rams.
LaFleur gave an update Saturday morning. According to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, the Packers will be without Bakhtiari on Monda night.
David Bakhtiari won’t play Monday night against the Rams, Matt LaFleur says.

This is a setback for the offensive line. Bakhtiari has been the Packers’ best lineman when he’s been able to play this season. The Packers are relatively healthy, minus Bakhtiari, heading into the Week 15 matchup. Most of the main wide receivers will be good to go for the game. However, LaFleur said Friday they planned to ease Romeo Doubs into the lineup against the Rams.
