We have all been twiddling our thumbs, eagerly awaiting any news from Aaron Rodgers’ camp on what his plans were for the 2021 season. Countless Bears fans have been trolling me all off-season: “What’s up with your boy?!” they said. “Denver? Oakland? San Fran?” they all jeered with a smirk.
But, I couldn’t respond. Rodgers silence these past few months has been deafening to say the least.
But the wait is over, Packers fans. The MVP is back with the Pack and ready for camp!

And there was much rejoicing! Unless, of course, you are among the countless Bears fans who pestered me all off-season. To them, I offer a simple *insert .gif of Rodgers championship belt celebration here*.
Rodgers’ 2021 Fantasy Outlook
Rodgers is – in all likelihood – back for at least one more season.
Great!
But what does this mean for fantasy football? With the pre-season (and many drafts) just around the corner, what can we expect from the reigning MVP? Where do you draft a guy who held out until the last second?
Here’s one thing we do know: Rodgers is in shape.
While he hasn’t been in Green Bay practicing (or talking about whatever is bothering him), he has been pretty visible. Whether it’s all the engagement news, The Match, or the Kentucky Derby, Rodgers has been out and about this year.
Most notably, however, is his pictures with beer-chugging legend David Bakhtiari and defensive stud Kenny Clark just a few days ago.
Worried? I’m not.
So where does one draft him this season? Will Rodgers repeat his success of last year and blow everyone out of the water? Or will he start the season sluggish and out-of-rhythm?
All I’ll say is this: Last year, I was one of the very few people who predicted Rodgers’ return to MVP numbers, and he surpassed even my wildest guesses. When he has a chip on his shoulder, he is tough to beat, and this off-season may have provided him with the biggest chip of his life since draft day.
It is never wise to doubt the King in the North. Don’t look like a fool like so many last season. Draft Rodgers with confidence. I know I will.
