The Green Bay Packers have initiated their 53-man roster as of Wednesday early afternoon. In the midst of completing their roster, they have signed a rookie wide receiver on to the practice squad. It will most certainly add to the depth chart in the wide receivers’ room with Jordan Love under center this season.
Green Bay Packers Sign Rookie WR to Practice Squad
Ryan Wood was the first to report on the rookie wide receiver being signed to the practice squad via X:

Grant DuBose College Statistics
Grant DuBose played for Miles in 2019. He had a total of 104 receiving yards and one touchdown. He scored six touchdowns on 892 yards receiving at Charlotte during his junior year. His senior year, he caught 64 passes for 792 yards and nine touchdowns. In total, DuBose had 126 receptions for 1,684 yards and 15 touchdowns in two years with the program.
DuBose Chances With The Green Bay Packers
Grant DuBose has a chance to be a backup wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers. As long as the starting core can stay healthy throughout the upcoming 2023 season, the Packers already have weapons at that position including Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, and Samouri Toure, along with incoming rookies Jayden Reed, Malik Heath and DonTayvion Wicks.
DuBose could be another option to throw to if needed. He will still need to prove himself in practice to show that he is ready if the need arises during an in-game situation. The Green Bay Packers are considered to be the youngest team in the National Football League this season. Quarterback Jordan Love will definitely have options to choose from with the starters, and the incoming guys who are looking to earn their spot on the team.
