Even though Father’s Day has come and gone, veteran guard Patrick Beverley never forgot the significance of the occasion. This led the Milwaukee Bucks star to hand out a simple request to his fans on social media for all dads out there.
Beverley has carved out a successful NBA career as a journeyman point guard, known for his tenacious defense and competitive spirit. After starting with the Houston Rockets, he has played for several teams, including the Clippers, Timberwolves, Lakers, Bulls, and 76ers.

In a midseason trade, the Bucks acquired Beverley to bolster their defense. He played a valuable role, providing leadership during the playoffs when stars like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard missed time due to injuries.
However, the Bucks’ early playoff exit against the Indiana Pacers was a disappointment. Beverley’s performance was solid, but he also drew controversy for throwing a ball at a fan and having a tense exchange with an ESPN producer. He has since apologized for these incidents.
Despite the ups and downs, Beverley’s resilience and defensive prowess have made him a respected veteran presence in the league. The trade that sent him to Milwaukee highlighted his ability to contribute to winning teams, even if his tenure in Milwaukee ended prematurely.

Like two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, Beverley shared a message for Father’s Day. In a post he shared on X, the Bucks’ veteran guard made a simple request for those following him.
“Make sure you tell that Man Happy Father’s Day. He needs to hear it❤️❤️,” Beverley tweeted.
Beverley himself is a father to two kids, a boy and a girl. Moreover, his contract with the Bucks has now expired and he will enter the offseason as a free agent.
