Parliament, a 2026 offensive and defensive lineman from South Dakota, has been a fast rising prospect in the 2026 recruiting class. Parliament has experience playing along both the offensive and defensive line, but appears set to play on the offensive side of the ball in college. During the interview, the lineman broke down what he feels will set him apart from others at the next level.
Wisconsin Football Target Hudson Parliament Reveals Keys To Recent Success
The Wisconsin football staff recently added a recruit to their watchlist following the opening of the 2026 recruiting period. Three-star 2026 offensive guard and defensive lineman Hudson Parliament has been someone the staff would love to take a closer look at.
As Parliament begins to hit the meat of his recruitment, the lineman stated, “Meeting and working with all the different coaches has been my favorite part.” Parliament also stated the camps have been great experiences as well as he continues to experience the process.

With Parliament beginning to stand-out within the 2026 class, the lineman was asked what he feels has led to this. Parliament stated, “My athleticism, especially my speed, agility, and horizontal explosiveness.” The recruit is confident he can stand-out on the field in the future as well given his rare set of skills for someone coming in at 6-foot-4-inches, 295-pounds.
When asked about how he got to this point and who had helped the most along the way, Parliament stated, “My high school football coach Matt Christensen.” The recruit went on to state, “He is always in my corner and has made a better man of me on and off the field.”
Parliament Earns Scholarship From Wisconsin Badgers Football Rival
Following his recent success at an Iowa camp, Parliament earned a scholarship from the Hawkeyes. Thus far, Parliament holds offers from Iowa State and Minnesota as well, while Illinois is showing heavy interest. With his rare combination of speed and agility for someone his size, Parliament has brought plenty of recruiting attention his way early on.
When asked about his recruitment, Parliament stated, “Playing on Sundays is always the ultimate goal.” The lineman went on to say, “My education and my relationships built along the way will provide other opportunities as well.”
The recruit acknowledged that his decision will not be purely based on what can happen on the field, and what happens off the field will be a major factor.
