Apart from Penn State and Wisconsin, Andrews also had South Carolina in his Top 3. The Badgers were reportedly the first to make their move on Andrews, but in the end, this really didn’t matter much.
Wisconsin Football: Noteable Badgers Recruits for 2024
While they may have missed out on Andrews, Wisconsin football fans can take comfort in the fact that they at least have had a handful of noteworthy names that have already committed for 2024.
One of the first names on the list has got to be quarterback Mabrey Mattauer from The Woodlands in Texas. At 6-foot-5 and 215 lbs, Mattaeur is considered as one of the first big commitments in the Luke Fickell era. Tight end Grant Stec rejected offers from the likes of Iowa and Michigan State in favor of a move to Wisconsin. Other notable recruits include OL Derek Jensen, LB Thomas Heberger, and LB Landon Gauthier, to name a few.
